- No Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) and COVID-19-related projects were received in FY 23.
- The total comprised 541 awards.
- Federal award support made up 81% of the total funding awarded in FY 23.
- 1,045 proposals were submitted requesting a total of $210.5 million in first-year funding.
- Total expenditures in FY 23 totaled $162 million, an increase of 5% from the previous year.
- Research expenditures in FY 23 totaled $108.5 million.
