Proposals Overview

Researchers at the University of Oregon submitted a total of 1,136 proposals in FY16 requesting a total of $157.1M in first-year funding, an 11% increase over the FY15 count (1,018). Of the 1,136 proposals, 85% (965) of the submissions were for new funding for the University. Of the amount requested, Federal proposals make up 62% either directly or via flow-through funding. The high volume of proposal activity is evidence of an increasingly complex research portfolio and reflective of a dedicated and talented faculty that is making important contributions across a growing number of fields.
