It’s no secret that the University of Oregon has earned a national reputation for integrating “sustainability” into academics, research, building design and day-to-day operations. Sustainability has become a widely shared institutional value. It is time once again to recognize and celebrate our many achievements at the University of Oregon’s Sustainability Awards Program. The following award will be given at a dinner ceremony on Wednesday, May 18, 2016. Nominations and self-nominations are due Monday, April 4, 2016.
The Research Innovation Award is open to a University of Oregon project or Oregon company commercializing or distributing products or services developed from UO research that improve sustainability.
TO NOMINATE (including self-nominations): Please provide a summary (not to exceed two pages) about the project or company and what makes it a leader in sustainability. What solution does it provide? How is the project or company sustainable and/or how do its products or services encourage sustainability in its users or the community? How is its approach to sustainability innovative, and how does it impact its field? Send nomination information to Evey Lennon at firstname.lastname@example.org by April 4, 2016.
