Research Development Services festured in National Council of University Administrators magazine

The UO’s office for Research Development Services is featured in two articles in the March/April edition of the National Council of University Administrators. NCURADirector Lynn Stearney was interviewed for a story on starting a research development office titled “Research Development: Where to Begin?” Stearney outlines the office’s mission to find and disseminate funding opportunities through the Funding Opportunities newsletter and personalized searches, and mentions other services, including proposal development services and the development and piloting of an Early Career program for UO faculty.  Stearney was interviewed for a second story titled “Research Development: Who Does This Work?” in which she discusses her career path and the fulfillment that comes from being a research development professional who is actively engaged with faculty members.
