Berkman talks 'brain training' on The Academic Minute

University of Oregon psychology professor Elliot Berkman was the featured guest on "The Academic Minute" on WAMC/Northeast Public Radio on Feb. 27.

Berkman's audio essay that discussed the findings of his group's study, published in the Jan. 1 issue of the Journal of Neuroscience, saying the study explains "how brain training improves performance on a given task and also why the performance boost doesn’t generalize beyond that task."

The Academic Minute features researchers from colleges and universities around the world and is hosted by Lynn Pasquerella, president of Mount Holyoke College.
