  CFR develops and supports mutually beneficial relationships with corporations and foundations in order to secure financial support for University of Oregon priorities.

Activities:
Co-ordination of all requests for gifts and grants from private sources: Faculty are encouraged to contact CFR in the planning stages of grant proposal development. CFR will work with ORSA to ensure that there are no restrictions that would prevent submission.

Developing Funding strategies: CFR can provide assistance to faculty on the current interests of private foundations and how to develop successful funding strategies around these areas for prioritized UO projects.

Receiving Gifts-in-Kind: Many faculty have strong connections with corporations, and are offered new or used equipment as gifts. CFR has worked with UO legal and business affairs and the UO Foundation to streamline the necessary paperwork to receive these gifts. If faculty know of possible gift-in-kind opportunities, please contact CFR so that we can assist with all necessary, and simplified, paperwork.

Corporate Partners Program. This program offers special recognition for corporations who are major philanthropic investors in the UO. We work with UO constituents and these companies to develop a mutually beneficial corporate-academic partnership. If faculty wish to get involved with these partnerships, please contact CFR.
