Mission: |

The
conduct of research at the University of Oregon is governed by the
rules and policies promulgated by several jurisdictions—the
Federal and State governments, the Oregon University System, as well
as the UO Senate and Administration. The overarching goal of the Office
for the Responsible Conduct of Research is to play a leadership role
in fostering a culture of research integrity and compliance at the
University with a focus on education, training, and technical assistance.
The ORCR also serves as the institution's research standards office
in matters of conflict of interest, misconduct in research and responsible
conduct of research. |
