April 22 virtual town hall sessions to provide COVID-19 research guidance

NOTE: Thank you to everyone who joined us for the April 22 virtual town hall sessions for researchers to address questions related to COVID-19 and the impact on the UO research enterprise.

Dear Campus Research Community,

The OVPRI and research IMT group will be hosting another series of virtual town halls to hear more of your questions and provide additional information. We invite you to join one of the following sessions on Wednesday, April 22:

Session 1: 11:00-11:30am

Session 2: 12:00-12:30pm

Registration is NOT required. If you are a UO affiliate and need the ZOOM link, please contact vpri@uoregon.edu.

The first session will be more focused on human subjects research, though the content will be similar at both sessions, so you may join whichever session works best with your schedule. We ask that you please only attend one session.

We will take questions during the virtual meeting sessions, but also encourage you to submit questions in advance for us to address in the meeting. Please email questions to vpri@uoregon.edu by Tuesday, April 21 at 12:00pm.

Please continue to pay close attention to your university email and frequently monitor the UO’s coronavirus website as well as the Research FAQ site. If you have any unaddressed needs or questions, please use the UO COVID-19 web form.

As always, I want to thank you all for the important steps you have been taking to ensure the health and safety of our research community.
