In a career that has spanned more than 40 years, Judy has served in executive and leadership positions in research and development and in operations at some of the world’s top brands.

She was the Vice President for Research and Development/Corporate Officer at Henkel Corporation’s North American operating arm, Global Vice President for Research and Development at Pepsi-Cola, and Global Director of Research and Development/Corporate Chief Technology Officer, Vice President, and Corporate Officer at IFF. In each case, she was the first woman in those roles.

Judy translates her corporate experience into building the brands, technologies, and leaders of tomorrow. She currently serves as the founder and managing director of ecosVC, a venture development and training company, and co-founder of the Chemical Angel Network, an angel group that funds start-ups in the chemical sciences. Judy was most recently elected president of the American Chemical Society. Her Lens of the Market training program is dedicated to supporting and fostering diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice in STEM.

Judy has earned the Francis Garvin-John Olin Medal of the American Chemical Society, Fellow of the American Chemical Society, and the Alexander von Humboldt Innovative Networking Alumni Prize.
