Identifying funding for your research projects is a critical step in developing a successful research program. Research Development Services is available to assist with finding grant opportunities and to work with the departments on technical documents and content assistance, especially if you are new to the grant-seeking process.

Pivot Database

Pivot is an external-funding search tool that has thousands of funding opportunities from federal, state, and private foundations from around the United States and the world. Please visit our Pivot help page for more information about how to sign up, claim your profile, and begin your searches.

How to Find Funding Opportunities at Grants.gov

Grants.gov is the single point of access for searching competitive funding opportunities from more than 900 grant programs offered by the 26 federal grant-making agencies. There is an extensive search feature and the ability to download the 'package' that contains the instructions and forms needed to apply for that grant. You also can sign up to receive email notifications of newly posted opportunities based on the different parameters provided.
