IACUC Lab Create or Modify a Team Procedure

To create a substance or procedure

  1. From the research team workspace, click Create Substance or Create Procedure.Note: Create the substances you will use in your procedures before creating the procedures.
  2. Complete the pages. If there is more than one page, click Continue to move to the next page.
  3. On the final page, click Finish. The respective Substances or Procedures tab on the researcher team workspace appears.

To modify or copy a procedure

  1. From the research team workspace, click on the Team Procedure, Standard Procedure, or the Standard Substance.
  2. You can use the work space to copy an existing procedure to make an entirely new procedure or to select the procedure to make edits as needed to submit for VVC or full amendments to an existing procedure.
  3. When finished with revisions, you can submit for Veterinary Verification Consultation (VVC) or add to protocol for approval on protocols.
  4. When you submit a protocol with an older version of a procedure, there will be a warning question that appears asking if you want to update to the newer version of the procedure.
