Onboarding / Getting Started
New to the UO? Start here to find resources and ensure you have the right training and certifications completed to engage in research activities at the UO.
Required Trainings for Researchers
Federal sponsor regulations and UO policy specify required trainings for researchers who receive sponsored awards. We have created a quick matrix to identify the required trainings, how frequently they're required, and where to access the training.
Upcoming Training Opportunities
Research Compliance Services (RCS) is offering two virtual training sessions in March to assist researchers with using the IRB Module of the Research Administration Portal (RAP). Join RCS for “RAP 101-Basics for Human Subject Researchers.” This introductory training session will highlight useful features of the RAP IRB Module and will provide attendees with a basic tour of the IRB RAP module. If you are interested in attending, please email researchcompliance@uoregon.edu to receive an invite with the training link. The sessions will be held March 11, 2024, at 1:30-2:30 p.m. or Tuesday, March 19, 9:30-10:30 a.m. The trainings will cover the same content. A recording will be made and available later on the Human Subject Research/IRB Trainings page.
