The Economic Development and Industry Engagement team connects researchers with external partners and helps external partners identify researchers best prepared to advance their research and development objectives.
Economic Development and Industry Engagement leads and facilitates the identification, engagement, and execution of effective research, other sponsored activities, and educational partnerships with a variety of partners. Our partners include companies, research organizations, economic and business community engagement organizations, corporate foundations, and government groups.
The team also supports the growth of the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation’s (OVPRI) translation efforts in developing and sustaining relationships with entrepreneurs and investors in OVPRI’s Innovation Network.
Additionally, the team supports executing industry partnerships that align with institutional priorities.
